Hi Rockin’ Peeps!
I so love the idea of creating a complaint free world! Imagine what the world would look like if we eliminated complaint, criticism, blame, & gossip…
Amazingly awesome right?
This has been a big practice for me in the last few years and I have to say it’s one of the most transformational practices you can incorporate into your life. Check out the video I did below on this topic:
And, my interview with the founder of A Complaint Free World, Will Bowen:

I would love to hear about your experience if you take on this challenge and how it goes for you!

Hi Alexandra. I love this and am all about it. the not complaining thing. But I am a little confused and am trying to understand how to live a life free of complaining or even spending time focusing on unpleasant situations in life. However, what about processing for the sake of healing or releasing destructive energy, like anger or trauma. How do you live a life focused on positivity and not complaining if you’ve got some major stuff to process out?
Hi Sarah!
Thanks for your note! Right on for rockin’ the no complaining!!
This is a great question. I think there is a fine line of processing trauma/anger and complaining. I have found that when I am very clear that I am going to stay in the Creator mode (which means that I am the creator of my experience, I am not going to react I am going to conscious create) I can process without complaining. We can use language like “I am feeling angry” and take responsibility for our anger and for our emotions and our experience. But, once we start blaming we give our power away and we move into complaining. And, when we complain we are never in an empowered place. This isn’t all about being positive all the time and ignoring unpleasant situations, trauma, anger sadness it is just about speaking honestly about them and having the intention to move through them. We can tend to have an addiction to feeling angry, sad that we ruminate on it and talk about it and complain about it but that never actually heals anything it just creates more drama. My goal has always been to stay drama free and that can be challenging to come from a place of true empowerment when I am upset or angry. But, if I can stay with the emotions as they rise and pass and remember to breathe I always remember that I can choose any perspective I want and why not choose one where I stay in my power as the creator of my life!
I hope that helps!!
Lots of love ~
Alexandra
That is perfect! Thanks so much. I can totally do that. It really helps! I am really focusing on shifting my consciousness at this point in my life to assist in the healing process of some health issues that I have had. I have had times in my life where I was very positive all the time and things were great! But I was probably a little to ready to sweep the uncomfortable stuff under the rug. And then I was just wallowing in anger, anxiety, and sadness for, like, years, which I believe is the reason I got sick. I have had a tough time understanding how to navigate real life while keeping my self centered in the stuff that feels good and nourishes my soul. But I feel that I am really learning it now and it feels great! I can’t wait to be fully healed physically so that I can live the life that my spirit is so excited to live now that I am letting go of all the blockages. Your answer to my question is so clear. I totally get it. Thanks!
Beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Sending you blissloads of love, light & healing!
